Description
This painting is derived from a photo I took on a trip to Alabama. This sago palm was growing along the Black River near Tuscaloosa, in an obviously landscaped setting, as they don't grow there as a native plant. But I was taken with it, and the prehistoric look of the palm took me to a place far, far away.
