Quick Question For Mastodon Users Re Images

Hi to any fellow members of the fediverse. I am still very much in the noob learning stage on Mastodon.

I notice than several of you are able to post images on your feed which also have a neat little link pictorial under the actual image rather than being embedded in the main text body.

Is that something unique to your chosen Mastodon instance or am I missing some neat trick here?

I think it may be a quirk on Metatext, the iOS mastodon browser I am using, together with the poster’s choice of instance.

It’s very professional looking. I see it with some users (e.g., Pamela, Deborah, Iris, Sue).

I would love to show a screenshot later if I could work out how to add an image here without putting it in my storefront.

Looks like it's just an app choice quirk, I guess, although it's interesting to see...
