Outdoor activities and a National Geographic magazine subscription helped inspire Aaron's passion for exotic landscapes. His fascination with cameras began with the manufacture of a pinhole camera for his Scientist badge as a Cub Scout. Although his early efforts were hampered by modest resources and an unpolished eye, he made up for it by taking copious quantities of very marginal photos. Fortunately, he was not discouraged by his own mediocrity and, after several decades, eventually began taking what might today be considered engaging images.
