This jug was found in a wonderful antique shop about 45 minutes from my home. I fell in love with the shape, age and color of the stoneware. Being Virginia, the shop was full of similar depression-era pieces and I've been back many times. The apple fit right in. Together I saw a perfect pairing of reflections and luminescence.
