This is a watercolor painting of a vintage travel trailer at the beach. We live on the coast of California, near the Pacific Coast Highway- and almost any time of the year the coastline is filled with travel trailers and campers parked along the beach. This almost constant scene always interests me, with a collection of new and old trailers. The old ones remind me of my childhood and all of the fun family vacations. I completely enjoyed painting this watercolor!
About Sheryl Heatherly Hawkins
I am a California artist and I divide my painting time between watercolors and oils. My favorites are still life paintings, but I also enjoy beach and garden themes. Many of my paintings come from scenes in my own garden. I have loved all kinds of art for as long as I can remember, and started drawing and painting as a kid. I grew up with a very creative mom and that definitely inspired me to continue on and study art in college. I have a bachelor's degree in Industrial Arts from CSUFresno in California. I have been lucky to live on both coasts- California and Long Island, New York.
