The Himalayan Monal Pheasant or Impeyan (Lophophorus impeyanus) is from the mountains in the Himlayas. One single male captive bird has quite a variety of brightly metallic feathers. I raised this bird and collected its feathers every year when it molted. There is the skinny long green crest feather; reddish small ones from the upper neck; green pointy ones from the lower neck and in the four corners are 4 inch feather from the body. The long blue feather on the middle right is from the wing.
