My challenge with this painting was to capture the light as solidly as the bunny's form. I think I got it! Jack is very much present, but that light is also there, warm and comforting on the back of your neck.

Kimberly Santini

First and foremost, I am a Mom. This means I have eyes in the back of my head, spot on intuition, the patience of a saint and mountains of compassion. I am also a painter. I am asked at least once a week, “why do you paint?” Despite the frequency of this question, I have yet to come up with a particularly brilliant answer.
