Ian Monk

Hi I’m Ian Monk, Hey, just between you and me, I’ll let you into a little secret, for my mid life crisis I chose to embark on a passionate affair with my photography. It started off innocently enough a proper camera from my wife for my 50th birthday, but over the past 7 years it’s been a real roller coaster ride. Firstly I gave up my day job to go back to school; 1st class honors degree in Photography, then I caught a couple of International Awards; hours section winner UPOTY in 2009,2013 and finally, to my wife’s horror, made an exhibition of myself in public; 2012 Group Exhibition ‘ Remain in Light ‘ London and 2013 Solo Exhibition ‘ Visions of Glastonbury ‘ Newcastle. Which hopefully demonstrates that I at least know one end...
