This shack is in Siesta Key. The beach for me is a place where they should have real posted signs that say "no working" and "relax." This picture is about stepping into the sands of that reality.
This is a reproduction fine art print of an original mixed media piece done on antiqued wood.
About Danny Phillips
Danny Phillip's art focuses on authenticity, age, and the historical relevance of objects in places. Specifically, he loves textures and layers. Using primarily recycled materials: magazines, paper and paints; all of his pieces are handmade in his Austin studio. As a self-taught artist, Danny has been focusing on mixed media and collage art and his work has been featured in galleries in Texas, along the East Coast and Australia.
