An acrylic on canvas painting of St. Kateri Tekakwitha, a young Native American who converted from her native Mohawk and Algonquin heritage to Christianity in the 1600s. She is the first Native American Catholic saint, is patron of the environment and ecology, and her feast day is July 14. This whimsical depiction includes the verse from 1 Cor 13:13: "So faith, hope, love remain, these three, bu the greatest of these is Love."
