The historic "Yard of Bricks" marks the start/finish line at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The 2.5 mile oval was once paved by bricks giving the track its nickname--the Brickyard. Race fans flock to Indianapolis each Memorial Day weekend and Independence Day weekend for Indy Car and NASCAR races. It's been tradition sin the late 1990s for winning teams to kiss the bricks.
