This is an abstract watercolor design. Colors were poured onto a wet surface and allowed to mingle before separating them with a silk cord and left to dry.

Sharon was a member of the Northwest Watercolor Society and a juried member of the Southwest Washington Watercolor Society. Her watercolors have won awards in National and local competitions. Sharon�s paintings hang in public buildings in Washington State as well as hotels in Alaska. An article featuring Sharon�s watercolor techniques was published in the Artists� Magazine, October 2000 issue. I look for unique patterns within small areas of nature and try to emphasize them.
