Ancient Roman Dodecahedron. ... Art?

The ancient Roman dodecahedron was made from a copper alloy (https://www.npr.org/2024/01/24/1226575715/archaeologists-roman-empire-dodecahedron-england)

There are no known visual or written descriptions of dodecahedra in Roman literature. Nobody knows this dodecahedron's use or purpose.

Could it be just an art?
