Will Available Image Purchase Sizes Adjust When Higher Resolution Image Is Uploaded?

Hi all,

As I'm getting better at using new programs and editing tools, I've been going back and improving upon older images that were already uploaded to FAA. FAA allows you to change the image on a page, so I have been replacing the older images with the new and improved images. My question is, will the available purchase sizes ever adjust to reflect the higher resolution images? I can see that the new images are successfully uploaded, but I'm not seeing the purchase size adjust. I really don't want to upload them as new images, because then I would lose all of the F/L, features, and comments, but I also want them to be able available at the larger sizes, because they were originally quite small. What's the solution?

You are adding sizes. You have to add the new pricing to those sizes when you are changing the image

Also if you are enlarging those images, if they look poor, they won't print it. You would edit, then upload the image. Then do a bulk update and also adjust default.

When you say 'higher resolution', do you mean larger pixel dimensions? Its pixel dimensions that matter with FAA print sizes, so as long as any replacement image has more pixels than the replaced image, you will see in the print size uploads section what options size wise are available to buyers. Unless you have added your prices to larger sizes in the default settings, you might need to manually enter these when you replace the existing image.

Thanks for the responses. Yes, Philip, larger pixel dimensions. Mike, the images are better in quality. I already have the prices pre-set in the default settings, so that shouldn't have to be changed. I'm not sure what you mean by a bulk update. I'm going to see if I can figure that part out.

Adding the prices in the bulk update did it!!! Thanks so much Mike! I guess it doesn't automatically add in the prices that are already set in the default settings. I went in through bulk update, but maybe I could have just adjusted the prices for the one image without going into "bulk update" like Nina suggested. Adding in the prices triggered the purchase size drop down menu to update. Thanks for all of your help guys and gal.
