Description
Locally referred to as the 'coat hanger', the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge spanning across harbour with its frame and pillars lit in the night sky. Perhaps one of the most famous landmarks that is a gateway to the rest of Australia, the Sydney Harbour Bridge spans from the Rocks on the southern side of the harbour to Kirribilli on the northern side. The bridge generally marks the beginning of the Parramatta River heading to the west.
This shot was taken on its north eastern side looking to the south west with the north pylon the closest part of the bridge. This was a long exposure shot on a particularly cold night that gave some brilliant glow to the lights that line the famous landmark.
